The eastside, which is more expansive than the west, is home to the Cielo Vista Mall, The Fountains at Farah, Cinemark 20 and XD, The Comic Strip, the El Paso International Airport, and more country clubs than anywhere else in the city, making it a golfer’s dream. Nationally known eateries, including Cheddar’s and BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, make their business in on the eastside of the city. Rock climbers looking to be closer to Hueco Tanks State Park choose the far east, which is considered to be neighborhoods off of Joe Battle Boulevard. Homes of both new construction and older build can be found on the eastside. The eastside offers older homes and more established neighborhoods, while the far east, which continues to expand eastward, offers house hunters newer homes in neighborhoods close to Horizon City and EPCC’s Mission Del Paso campus.
