El Paso has neighborhoods in every part of the city, each unique in it’s history and attractions. Northwest neighborhoods such as Franklin Hills are close to Transmountain Road, which allows commuters to quickly travel across the city through the mountain, and new development such as West Towne Marketplace, a new 63-acre retail and entertainment complex near Interstate 10 and Artcraft Road. The far west side of the city is also home to The Outlet Shoppes at El Paso, an expansive outdoor shopping mall, and the El Paso Community College’s Northwest campus, the newest of five campuses the community college has throughout the city. Those looking for a short drive to Wet n’ Wild Waterworld during the hot summers choose the far west.
